The Chiefs (8-2) will look to continue their stronghold on the AFC’s #1 seed as they play host to the defending Super Bowl champion L.A. Rams at 3:25 live from Arrowhead Stadium. The Chiefs are certainly dealing with a few injury issues this week, although nothing insurmountable or anything that could be a cause for concern later in the season.
The Rams, meanwhile, are in dire straights, playing without best receiver Cooper Cupp and quarterback Matthew Stafford. The team will be down to its third string quarterback Bryce Perkins as the Rams look to avoid a dismal 3-8 start. For the Rams, the injuries continue to pile up as new #1 receiver Allen Robinson is listed as questionable with an ankle injury.
Chiefs/Rams injury report
The Chiefs are pleased to regain the services of receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, who is returning from a concussion suffered two weeks ago. Still questionable ahead of the game is guard Joe Thuney, safety Juan Thornhill and corner Chris Lammons. Of those three, Thuney was a limited participant in Friday’s practice so could give it a go this afternoon. Still out is WR Kadarius Toney, who reinjured his hamstring last week against the Chargers.
