We know by now that Chiefs safety Justin Reid is more than capable of kicking at a high level in the NFL. Reid was shown this offseason kicking long field goals during Chiefs training camp and he even had to put his skills to use week 1 against the Cardinals when he made an extra point and handled kickoff duties after an injury to Harrison Butker.

The Chiefs are set to host the 3-7 L.A. Rams this afternoon at 3:25 at Arrowhead Stadium. The game can be viewed on T.V. on Fox. Certainly the hope is that Reid will not be called upon to kick in this game but it’s good to know you’ve got an option out there should Butker go down again.
