We all know high school is a time of transition and unpredictability. That is, for most people. Who will become a CEO or a politician or…wind up in jail is not always easy to spot. Sometimes though, people can predict success based on your high school performance. That was the case for one classmate of Patrick Mahomes by the name of Spencer Shaw.
During Shaw and Mahomes’ senior year, Shaw claimed he would be “seeing Mahomes win a Super Bowl ring” in the yearbook. Now, we don’t know if he predicted two or multiple rings but Shaw was in tune with the success that Patrick would likely have in life.
“He just kind of has the it factor,” Shaw said. “One big prediction, I was right.”
