Let’s face it: there wasn’t much to cheer about during the Chiefs’ second preseason game against the Buccaneers. Kansas City dropped the contest—marking their 8th straight loss in preseason play—but the final score wasn’t the headline stealing the spotlight.

The real story unfolded right before halftime, courtesy of a booming right leg and a iconic voice in the broadcast booth.

The Kick heard Round Arrowhead

Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker had a solid night overall, going 3-for-4 on field goal attempts. However, his standout moment came with seconds ticking down in the second quarter. Lined up for a staggering 69-yard attempt, Butker struck the ball cleanly, sending a high-trajectory shot straight down the middle that cleared the crossbar with room to spare.

The unbelievable boot sent the Chiefs bench into absolute hysterics as players swarmed the field to celebrate.
