One of the most unpredictable NCAA Tournaments in history continued to thrill audiences on Saturday night as 9-seed Florida Atlantic downed 3-seed K-State 79-76. Down three with under 7 seconds to go, K-State attempted to dribble the length of the floor for a game-tying three but were unable to get a shot off as the FAU defense clamped down.
FAU becomes the first team to advance to the Final 4 and will play the winner of San Diego State and Creighton. K-State was denied of its first Final 4 appearance since 1964.
