Current Cardinals receiver DeAndre Hopkins was on hand this weekend in Miami for the SFC “The Catch” fishing tournament where he battled it out on the high seas against several NFL players like Chris Jones, Justin Herbert, A.J. Brown etc. While Hopkins was pretty adamant he didn’t want to talk football when we sat down with him prior to the event, he did make some subtle hints about his future in the NFL.
Due to league tampering rules, Hopkins isn’t able to comment on potential trades or playing for another team but he did give the Chiefs a nice gesture when asked him them specifically.

At the Havana Night party on the ocean lawn at the FountaineBleu resort, we talked more with DeAndre who told us he was glad we asked him about Kansas City specifically and “would have been mad if we didn’t.” We also asked Chris Jones if he would be recruiting Hopkins during the weekend and he smiled and said “already talked to him.”
