There’s a reason that Raiding the Rock Vault has been voted “Best of Vegas” six years running and despite a venue change from the Hard Rock to Rio’s Club 172, the show is as good as ever and continues to dazzle audiences with its unabashed celebration of classic rock.

The show acts as a time capsule, taking you back to the genesis of rock n’ roll music with songs like “My Generation” and “Honky Tonk Woman” and whisks you away back to the glory days of rocky that concludes with a nod to 80’s hair metal.

Musically, the show is as good as it’s ever been with singers like Todd Kerns, Paul Shortino & Robin McAuley belting out spot-on tributes some of rock’s most timeless hits.
We have a blast, that’s the secret, we enjoy what we do.” McAuley said in a recent interview with the Music Mania Podcast. “When that green light hits, we go and that’s all there is to it.”

Whether you are into more classic acts from the 60’s or 70’s like Jimi Hendrix or Foreigner, or prefer the big hair of the 80’s, Raiding the Rock Vault has you covered with over 90-minutes of hits spanning over 20 years of unforgettable material.

And it’s not just the singers that are featured, on any given night you could see a guy like Phil Soussan (ex Ozzy Osbourne, Billy Idol) or Hugh Mcdonald (Bon Jovi) on bass, or guitar shredders like Howard Leese (Bad Company, Heart) and Rowan Robertson (Dio). These players all exemplify the spirit of rock n’ roll and have, themselves, lived to tell the tale from having played with some of the genre’s biggest heavyweights.

The inclusion of female vocalists have long been a Rock Vault highlight. Cian Coey handled such duties on this occasion and electrified the crowd with her versions of “Heartbreaker” by Pat Benatar and “Alone By Heart.” On a night of never-ending classic songs, these two certainly stood out and it was amazing to see Sarah shine in this setting.

With a tremendous new venue and a production that is top-notch both musically and the overall presentation, this is a show that is a must-see for any rock fan upon visiting Sin City.
