The NFL Draft will go live tonight from Las Vegas and many are looking at the receiver positions as perhaps the deepest it’s been in some time. As the Kansas City Chiefs have revamped its receiving corps this offseason, Jameson Williams from Alabama has visited Kansas City in recent weeks and spoke highly about this potential landing spot.

“The main reason (in playing for the Chiefs) is I would be close to home,” Williams, a St. Louis native, said at the draft this week, via KSHB 41 in Kansas City. “(Pat’s) a great quarterback and I love his game. He can help me and I can help him. We probably could be the greatest duo ever.

Williams ranked 9th in the nation averaging 9.3 yards after catch in 2021. The Chiefs currently sit with picks 29 and 30 but would likely have to move up to take Williams who could likely go in the middle of the first round.
