It was an emotional day at Kauffman Stadium on Saturday as the Royals played host to the fellow last place Oakland A’s. No, there was no real emotion for the game itself as the Royals lost 5-4 but former Royals legend Lorenzo Cain was honored on the field before the game in a retirement ceremony. Cain became emotional and broke down while talking to the capacity crowd in a stadium where he played from 2011-2017.
