After five seasons serving as Chiefs offensive coordinator, Eric Bieniemy has left to take the same job with the Washington Commanders. While many are congratulating Bieniemy and wishing him well in his new role, one former player (Shady McCoy) was not wanting to give Bieniemy his flowers.
Shady stated on Fox Sports that Bieniemy did not show him the traits or skills needed to be a good coordinator which sparked responses from many that played under Bieniemy to come to his defense.

Just three days later, two-time Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes broke his silence on the topic, coming to Bieniemy’s defense which should put Shady’s ridiculous argument to rest once and for all.
