When you think about Thanksgiving, you typically think about food, family, fellowship and football. This year, Chiefs safety Justin Reid partnered with local organizations to give away over 300 turkeys on Thanksgiving to families in need. The event took place at Victory Ford and it is just awe-inspiring to see a high-profile athlete like Reid sacrifice his time on a family holiday to assist with such an important endeavor.
As you will see in the video, KC Wolf and dozens of other volunteers were on hand at Victory Ford to assist Reid. Over 300 families were helped out as the crew loaded people up with turkeys, pies, milk and other groceries to help make their Thanksgiving a memorable one.
