Tyrann Mathieu fires back at Twitter joke gone wrong

Chiefs safety Tyrann Mathieu has been very busy since the Chiefs’ season-ending loss to Cincinnati on Sunday. Earlier this week, Mathieu sent out a tweet indicating he may have played his last game in Kansas City. Now, a joke attempt from a Chiefs fan on Twitter has fired up the pro bowler yet again.

Many believe this to have been a good-natured joke about how replacing Mathieu this offseason would not be easy.

Mathieu is an unrestricted free agent entering the offseason. The Chiefs and Mathieu have expressed mutual interest in reaching a deal, the two parties have not yet reached terms on an extension.
