While Trevor Lawrence is commonly known as a respectful and classy young athlete, some of his comments this week could stick in the craw of Chiefs fans just a little bit. After engineering a come-from-behind win over Las Angeles last Saturday, Lawrence and the Jags will try to slay the dragon known as KC at Arrowhead Stadium.
When asked about the potential crowd noise at Arrowhead, Lawrence stated that “I can’t imagine Arrowhead Stadium will be much louder than Jacksonville last Saturday.”
The Chiefs and Jaguars met in the regular season on November 13th with the Chiefs coming out ahead 27-17. Lawrence acknowledged that this will be different since it’s the now the playoffs.
