If you’re a die-hard Chiefs fan, you know that games against the Chargers are almost never easy. Kansas City were able to complete an epic comeback on Sunday night when Patrick Mahomes hit Travis Kelce for a 17-yard score that would prove to be the game winner.
On this week’s edition of the “New Heights Podcast,” Travis was asked by brother Jason if this was the same play that beat the Chargers last season in overtime.
“It was one different route, it was a swing instead of a corner.” Travis explained. “I was just hoping coach Reid was dialing something so I could just run away from this dude (Chargers safety Derwin James).”
