To no surprise, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was named the NFL MVP at the NFL Honors which took place in Phoenix on Thursday Night. Mahomes won his second MVP award and, with a win and top-notch performance on Sunday, would join Tom Brady and Joe Montana as the only players in history with two MVP’s and two Super Bowl MVPs.
Mahomes was not on hand live to receive the award, however, a video of Mahomes accepting the MVP aired after Kurt Warner announced the winner.
