Chiefs fans that were sent into a spiral yesterday after Chris Jones eluded to the fact that he might sit out until week 8 of the NFL season might be able to take a sign of relief. Famed NFL pundit and Chiefs supporter Nick Wright discussed the issue on today’s edition of First Things First and stated that this was actually “great news” that Jones mentioned week 8.
“Chris Jones confirmed he’ll be back,” Wright stated. “He even gave us the last possible date. Now we know he’s not even threatening to skip the entire season which could be somewhat problematic for the Chiefs.”
