On a recent episode of First Things First, long-time Chiefs and Mahomes fan Nick Wright went all in on criticizing Patrick Mahomes. Of course, the criticism was tongue-in-cheek and was actually a compliment as recently Patrick revealed his top-5 QB list of all time.
Patrick’s list, which actually listed six players included: Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers, Joe Montana and Dan Marino (or) John Elway. Pretty fair list right there. Nick Wright, however, believes Mahomes needs to be less humble and should add himself to the list.
“I would argue that if Patrick Mahomes never played another down, he’s higher than Aaron Rodgers on the all-time list,” Wright said. “I think Mahomes’ list stinks, because he didn’t put himself on the list.”
