The Chiefs won its seventh straight AFC West division championship with a dramatic overtime victory over the Houston Texans. After punting on their first possession of overtime, the Chiefs forced a fumble of Texans quarterback Davis Mills which led to Jerick McKinnon’s walk-off touchdown. Chiefs radio announcer Mitch Holthus call of the action, as always, was complete gold.
Mitch helped make a dire situation seem like a complete triumph with his epic vocal inflections. Despite the subpar effort, the Chiefs did get to 11-3, which is tied for best record in the AFC. KC’s seventh straight division title gives them 15 all time which ties them with the Chargers, Broncos and Raiders.
