The Chiefs surprisingly trailed the lowly Texans 14-13 at halftime on Sunday. The Texans stuck first with a first quarter touchdown but the Chiefs answered with a Mahomes to Jerick Mckinnon 20-yard score. At the end of the play, McKinnon threw the ball to a young Chiefs fan sitting in the front row of the end zone.
After McKinnon tossed the fan the ball, video caught the youngster celebrating with the ball, holding it up with a joyous look on his face. It’s moments like this that show the true connection that the NFL has with its great fans across the country.
