It’s nice to see a dose of reality from the national media this week after former Bengals QB Carson Palmer called Joe Burrow better than Patrick Mahomes. Pro Football Talk hosts Mike Florio & Chris Simms tackled the subject on today’s show and set the record straight. Not only did the duo dispel claims that Burrow is better, but Florio doubled down and compared Mahomes to NBA legend Michael Jordan.
“Patrick Mahomes is the closest thing the NFL has seen to Michael Jordan,” Florio said. “A guy who comes in and changes the way we think about the position, changes the way kids play the position.”
