In case you haven’t noticed, our Starcade Sports Podcast has been rebranded to Bash in the Basement which features hosts Clint Switzer and Noah Gronniger basically talking about what they want with cool people from sports, entertainment etc. This week, the duo were joined by former Chargers linebacker Shawne “Lights Out” Merriman who pretty much made a living terrorizing the Chiefs from 2005-2009.
When asked about the greatness of Patrick Mahomes, Merriman was quick to give the NFL MVP props but said he picked against the Chiefs as he thought the Eagles were the better team.
“The Philadelphia Eagles were the better team, all across the board.” Merriman stated. “But the one thing you can never count out is having a Patrick Mahomes at quarterback.”
