The race for NFL MVP has been a saga all season long. While Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes has been a prime candidate all year, there are other worthy candidates that have cycled in and out. Today on Fox Sports’ “First Things First” host Nick Wright discussed the MVP race and pointed out that Mahomes is the guy.

Mahomes leads the league currently in passing yards and touchdowns and has thrown just 11 interceptions on the season. While QB’s like Joe Burrow and Jalen Hurts may still be in consideration but look for Vikings WR Justin Jefferson to make a push if he gets to 2,000 yards.

The MVP is clearly Patrick Mahomes.” Wright said. We’ve taken him for granted.”
