The Phoenix Suns shocked the NBA world back in February when they traded for 13-time All-Star Kevin Durant. The Suns are currently in 4th place in the Western conference yet many believe Durant makes Phoenix the team to beat in the playoffs coming up in April. Fox Sports’ Colin Cowherd recently discussed Durant’s greatness and compared him to Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
“(Durant) is Mahomes. It just doesn’t matter. Coordinator, tight end, wide receiver,” Colin Cowherd said. “Tyreek Hill left…won an MVP and the Super Bowl, didn’t matter that they rebuilt his offensive line the previous year or he had a pedestrian wide receiver group.”
