With just a week remaining until the start of the NFL season, we see an onslaught of predictions raining down from the national media. While the Chiefs remain the favorites (by many Vegas sportsbooks) to repeat as Super Bowl champions, NBC Sports’ Chris Simms believes he has the inside track on the team that will knock KC off its throne.
While Simms does have KC reaching Super Bowl LVIII in Vegas, he believes that the Lombardi will go to an NFC team this year, that being the San Francisco 49ers.
“I think this is the year,” Simms said. “I think the stars are aligning for them. It’s never easy to pick the Chiefs to lose anything.”
