It was, indeed, a big day for Chiefs rookie corner Jaylen Watson. The former 7th round pick from Washington State completely turned last night’s game on its head after intercepting Justin Herbert at the goal line and returning it 99 yards for a go-ahead score.
The Chiefs locker room was jubilant after the game and Andy Reid decided to call on Watson to break the team down after delivering his post-game speech.
