After having not practiced all week, it’s been revealed by Broncos head coach Vic Fangio that running back Melvin Gordon III (600 yards rushing, 5TD’s in 2021) is “doubtful” to play Sunday night when the Broncos travel to Kansas City to battle the Chiefs on Sunday Night Football.

Gordon listed as “doubtful”

Cornerback Nate Hairston also did not practice Thursday, as Fangio said he had “a little hip issue.”

“This looks so easy, we must be missing something.” Kevin Kietzman eplained in his Starcade Media column on Thursday. “The Broncos list 6 of 22 starters missing practice this week from injuries last weekend while the Chiefs had their toes in the sand.  Two defensive linemen (Shelby Harris and Bobby Massie) are out and the other injuries are on the offensive line (Dalton Risner is one of my favorite players and people in the NFL) and in the backfield.  Yes, Teddy Bridgewater is limited this week as well so don’t rule out seeing Drew Lock at some point.  So how did NBC flex into this game Sunday night?  The Chiefs are at home, favored by 9.5 points over an injured team they’ve beaten 11 times in a row.”
