It seems like Travis Kelce is as front-and-center and in the public eye as any current NFL player. From hosting SNL to a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Kelce’s star continues to rise even if he is “underpaid” by the Chiefs. While not exactly heading to the poor house, Travis averages about $14 million per year since he signed his latest deal back in 2020. He was asked by Vanity Fair about being underpaid and he allows it to happen.
“I love winning. I love the situation I’m in,” Kelce explained. “The free market looks fun until you go somewhere and you don’t win.”
