A day after only being able to find 2 worth players, it seemed almost impossible to just not go with 6 or 7 guys today. Not because I feel like we need to makeup for yesterday, but because there were that many Stallion-type performances. Who did we leave off SOTN today?

Where is Jerian Grant you ask? Well, he is off the picture and is about to knock this shot down!

  • Jerian Grant (Notre Dame) – Umm, did any of you watch this guy play last night?? If not, you missed a show! Notre Dame picked up a 77-73 win over Duke and Grant had 23 pts, 6 rebs, 12 assts, 2 blks and 3 stls! This kid was unbelievable. Heck, he even shot a 3 from the middle of the Shamrock…..and made it! Grant is making a case for a player of the year honors from all of the big award places and it will be well deserved. This guy is a stud!

  • Jahil Okafor (Duke) – This guy was overshadowed last night because his team lost, but man, he was a hoss last night. Okafor, a freshman, had 22 pts, 17 rebs, 3 assts, 1 blk, and 1 stl in the loss to Notre Dame. He was double teamed most of the night, and was still able to put up numbers like that. His biggest downfall last night was his 2-7 performance from the FT line. If he hit some late FT’s, he would have obviously had more points, his team probably wins, and he probably gets the front page image for the article. Still, it was a huge game from him.

  • Damion Lee (Drexel) – Lee, a 6’6 junior guard, has been a monster this season for the Dragons. He averages over 21 points and 6 boards a game. He has been on a bad team the last 3 years, so people do not know about it, but if you follow college basketball then you know that this kid has a real talent. Last night, Lee dominated in his teams 65-60 win over Northeastern. Lee had 33 pts, 4 rebs, 3 assts, and 1 stls on the night. The Dragons have now won 3 of 4 and can hopefully get on a run and make the NCAA Tournament. You need the opportunity to see Lee play.
