Mississippi State tackle Charles Cross was selected by the Seattle Seahawks with the ninth overall pick of the NFL Draft on Thursday night. Cross played with current Chiefs LB Willie Gay back in 2019 and was asked about Gay as a person and a player after he was drafted on Thursday.
“He’s a great person, great to hang around, be around, learn from.” Cross said when asked about Gay by Starcade Media. “He’s a very gifted athlete, especially playing linebacker, he’s very quick sideline to sideline.”
