In what will go down as one of the more comical moments in the storied history of the Chiefs/Raiders rivalry, the Raiders decided to gather before Sunday’s game and dance around on the Arrowhead Stadium midfield logo. The Chiefs went on to win 48-9 in the most decisive win in the rivalry’s history as Kansas City moved to 9-4 on the season. The Chiefs won both games this season by a combined 89-22 and Twitter’s reaction to this occurrence is worth the price of admission alone. Twitter Reacts to Chiefs Beating Raiders 48-9 After Raiders Danced Over Midfield Logo Before the Game Patrick Mahomes on the Raiders’ standing on the Chiefs logo pregame: You don’t want people coming into your stadium and disrespecting what you’ve built.— Sam McDowell (@SamMcDowell11) December 12, 2021 The pregame shenanigans by the Raiders will go down as one of the dumbest moments in this rivalry. Stomp on your opponents logo at midfield while they’re in the locker room, then come out and get SMACKED from literally the first play and totally beat down all game. 48-9 final— Mitchell Schwartz (@MitchSchwartz71) December 12, 2021 Thought shit was sweet huh gone head and take that cool down lap little brothas https://t.co/W4B5VlOvND— Armani Watts (@ArmaniWatts23) December 12, 2021 Y’all think Raiders will meet on someone else’s logo b4 the gm? I don’t think champions act in that manner. It doesn’t even matter.”— Sam McDowell (@SamMcDowell11) December 12, 2021 The @raiders are unofficially the first team to ever gather on an opponent’s midfield logo pregame and then trail 28-0 about 21 game minutes later. pic.twitter.com/LQzoFl5Kny— Rich Eisen (@richeisen) December 12, 2021 Maybe they shouldn't have had a meeting on our logo! #chiefskingdom #RaiderNation #Chiefs #Raiders pic.twitter.com/jingdPCqdt— Noah Gronniger (@NoahStarcade) December 12, 2021 You have to feel like you’re the better team if you’re going to try this move, don’t do this after you’ve been beat down at your own home thinking things will change at our place! https://t.co/zBqwcSwbVA— Eric A Warfield (@Eawarfield44) December 12, 2021 https://twitter.com/DreBaker1_/status/1470142490099470336 Facebook Twitter/X Email Post navigation Patrick Mahomes drops new hype video hours before Chiefs vs. Raiders Pranked: Patrick Mahomes gets one over on Andy Reid
