While Tyrann Mathieu remains a free agent, many believe he could sign a deal with a new team at any moment. Never one to sit idly by and wait, Mathieu recently returned to LSU (where he played from 2011-2012) and delivered a powerful speech to the football team.
On Friday, Patrick Mahomes posted an Instagram story in response to the speech which reveals his true feelings about his former teammate.
“One of the realsest dudes and best leaders I’ve ever been around.” Mahomes captioned the photo.

The pair played together for three seasons which included one Super Bowl title, a Super Bowl appearance and three AFC Championship games at Arrowhead Stadium. Mathieu even attended Mahomes’ wedding last month in Hawaii.
