Patrick Mahomes is certainly never a player to deflect blame or to run from adversity. The Chiefs lost their third game in a row to the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday but the former NFL and Super Bowl MVP is pretty candid when it comes to his thoughts on this “rivalry.”

On “The Drive” with Carrington Harrison earlier this week, Mahomes mentioned that if there was a play that he would like to have back, it would be the Kelce fumble.

I don’t know if you would call it a rivalry. We haven’t beat them yet.” Mahomes stated. “Until we beat them, it’s not really a rivalry. I’m sure we’ll play them a lot in the following years and maybe again in the playoffs if we match up again there.”
