Recently, the NFL made a decision to cut the preseason down from four games to just two due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, the NFLPA didn’t think that went far enough. The union’s board of player representatives voted to cancel all 2020 preseason games. The NFL feels it can overrule the NFLPA vote and have the preseason remain at two weeks. The NFLPA, on the other hand, believes they have leverage with personal safety being at an all-time high during this pandemic. One thing is for sure, it will be interesting to see what happens and who wins out. Will the NFL get their two game schedule or will the NFLPA get their wish of completely cancelling the preseason altogether?
