This news comes on the heels of Bashaud Breeland being suspended for the first four games of the season in which he later apologized. Now, Mike Pennel has been suspended two games to start the season and also has apologized. To speculate for a moment, it sounds as if Mike was taking supplements and something in one of those was on the banned substance list. Like he said, it’s on him, he has to be more vigilant on knowing what he puts into his body. Although Mike is key in the run game, the Chiefs should be able to weather the storm with Chris Jones, Derrick Nnadi and Khalen Saunders in the middle.
