Mahomes’ trainer calls out Tony Romo for previous injury comments

it goes without saying that Patrick Mahomes’ ankle injury suffered in the first quarter of the Chiefs’ divisional playoff game against the Jacksonville Jaguars has been the talk of the NFL universe. While it’s been nothing but rampant speculation since then, broadcaster Tony Romo raised eyebrows during the bills Bengals game when he claimed Patrick would be on crutches on Wednesday and might not be able to play this Sunday.

Wednesday has now arrived and, miraculously, Mahomes was a full participant at Chiefs practice and video has surfaced of him jogging around on the injured ankle. Mahomes’ trainer Bobby Stroupe couldn’t help but troll Romo a little bit after today’s practice .
