It’s the controversy that won’t end. Jets corner Sauce Gardner is convinced that his late flag that helped the Chiefs salt the game away on Sunday Night Football was indeed, not a hold. Gardner took to X to clap back at Patrick Mahomes, who explained in an interview with Carrington Harrison of 610 Sports Radio why the play was actually a hold.
“At the end of the day, you get your hands around the guy’s neck like 15 yards downfield, they’re going to call something.” Mahomes said during the interview.
