Sunday’s 34-28 Chiefs win over the Denver Broncos will probably not go down as any kind of shining moment for the franchise. Kansas City saw a 27-0 second quarter lead evaporate as the Chiefs committed three turnovers and the defense allowed Denver to score a season-high 28 points.

After the game many Chiefs players have spoken out about the game. Patrick Mahomes stated that he was thankful for his teammates “picking him up “after the three interceptions. Chiefs DE Frank Clark was not exactly as tactful with his comments about the contest.

Kansas City next travels to Houston to play the one-win Texans in a game many will expect the Chiefs to dominate. The Chiefs will likely be a two-touchdown favorite in the game as Houston tries to build on their near-upset of the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.
