During a Zoom meeting with members of the media on Wednesday, Mizzou head coach Eli Drinkwitz spoke candidly about about coaches having awareness about what they do and say.
Drinkwitz, who was sporting an Andy Reid inspired Mizzou Hawaiian shirt during the interview, made it clear that he was not defending anyone’s choice of shirt. He did, however, defend coaches in general for what they do outside of football facilities.
“These guys are getting pictures taken by fans on vacation time.” Drinkwitz stated. “Do you have to be aware? Yes you do.”
