In a recent interview with Clint Switzer & Noah Gronniger on The Elite Sports Podcast, former South Carolina star Marcus Lattimore spoke openly about sports in relation to the social change that is taking place in America right now.
“I see a lot of positives coming out of this Black Lives Matter movement.” Lattimore stated. “It’s showing that two different Americas do exist and how do we navigate through these worlds and how do we unify?”
Lattimore, who recently served as Director of Player Development at South Carolina under Will Muschamp, offered poignant and thought-provoking words on football’s role in social change in addition to this time starring on the field for the Gamecocks from 2010-2012.
