Missouri head football coach Eli Drinkwitz addressed members of the media Wednesday afternoon via Zoom to discuss the football team’s march to the Boone County courthouse on Tuesday where 60 football players registered to vote.
Coach Drinkwitz spoke candidly about the unified message that he, the Missouri football coaching staff and players wanted to portray following the unfortunate death of George Floyd.
“I stand aside some very powerful leaders (at Mizzou.)” Drinkwitz stated during the Zoom meeting. “It was a really powerful moment for me personally and I believe it was a powerful moment for our team for unity and cohesion.”
