Standout LB Micah Parsons took to Twitter on Thursday following the news that Brittney Griner would finally be released from a Russian prison. Parsons was angry that U.S. Marine Paul Whelan was still imprisoned while Griner was allowed to come home. Some of Parson’s tweets have since been removed and he did express gratitude that Griner was released.

Parsons began with a Tweet that insinuated he was angry that the U.S. still had not brought Whelan back .

Parsons lashes out at Biden

Parsons explained that he has family members that have served in the military but seemed to walk back his initial comments about Biden and expressed gratitude that Griner was released.
