Chris Jones has been having fun with Chiefs fans all offseason, so this could certainly fall under those lines but the All-Pro defensive tackle has yet to join his teammates despite training camp being over. The Chiefs have one preseason game remaining this Saturday and then will turn their focus to a week one matchup with Detroit. KC’s front office and fanbase has been awaiting Jones’ return for weeks now and it appears everyone may have to hunker down for the long haul.
Jones replied to a Tweet from the account Arrowhead Live that could send the Chiefs fanbase into a spiral as fines continue to mount. Jones replied “week 8” to Arrowhead Live’s Tweet which mentioned the “hefty fines” that Jones is enduring.
