Things had been very quiet on the Honey Badger front since the safety was knocked out of the Chiefs’ divisional playoff game against Buffalo on Sunday. Mathieu was unable to clear concussion protocol and was uncharacteristically silent after sustaining the injury but took to Twitter this morning to offer some hope.
Mathieu posted a series of Tweets on Tuesday morning, all of which seem to be somewhat positive. His status for Sunday’s AFC Championship game against Cincinnati remains unknown as he will have to clear concussion protocol to participate.
