The Chiefs let Emmanuel Ogbah walk after the 2019 season in which he suffered a torn pectoral muscle. They were up against it with Frank Clark’s contract and having signed Alex Okafor that same year to a 3-year $18M deal. Ogbah flashed in his 10 games that season as he tallied 5.5 sacks, but the Chiefs decided to move on without him.

All he did was record 18 sacks the next two years with the Dolphins, 9 in each season, as the Chiefs struggled to find a consistent pass rush. Now, as we sit here in the 2022 off-season, the Chiefs not only have a chance to right their wrong, but start to build toward a consistent pass rush if they sign Emmanuel Ogbah. Only time will tell if that happens, but let’s take a closer look at Frank Clark vs. Emmanuel Ogbah and compare their last three seasons. Both players are 28 years old and will turn 29 heading into or during the 2022 season!
