The Chiefs have completely turned over its receiving corps this offseason. Gone are Tyreek Hill, Demarcus Robinson and Byron Pringle. Only Mecole Hardman remains from the 2021 group of starters and the team has been linked to several players in the upcoming NFL draft.
Tennessee Titans star receiver A.J. Brown’s has been outwardly seeking a trade for the past couple of weeks. Brown, along fellow receivers from the 2019 receiver class, are seeking major contract extensions.
Clearly, Chiefs linebacker Willie Gay is all in on the Chiefs trading for the former Pro Bowler Brown.
Brown has amassed nearly 3,000 receiving yards along with 24 touchdowns. The Chiefs have already signed free agent receivers JuJu Smith-Schuster and Marquez Valdez-Scantling this offseason but still lack a true number 1 target for Mahomes.
