You can now add Chiefs DT Khalen Saunders to the growing list of Chiefs players who have chosen to negatively engage with fans on Twitter. In the past, we’ve seen players like Tyrann Mathieu, Anthony Hitchens etc go back and forth with naysaying fans but, needless to say, Saunders may be one of the more humorous players we’ve seen clap back at fans.

Dealing with online trolls is all part of sports these days, but it rarely goes well when an athlete decides to engage. Yesterday, Khalen spent a large part of his day going back and forth defending the Chiefs pass-rush against fans who were bringing up valid points about their ineptitude. Things then started to get personal as Khalen fired back at a fan that called him overweight.

How it all began

There is an entire Twitter thread that began with Khalen posting a graph showing the Chiefs team 43 sacks on the season. As you can see, it pretty much went downhill after this.
