Needless the say, the last time the Chiefs and Bucs met it wasn’t exactly KC’s best day on the field. The Bucs easily won Super Bowl LV 31-9 as the Tampa Bay defense completely obliterated the Chiefs shoddy offensive line. Linebacker Shaq Barrett has now gone on record that he expects similar results on Sunday night.

Barrett told reporters this week that he doesn’t believe there is much of a difference between the offensive line Tampa faced in 2021 and the current offensive line which features completely different starters.

Shaq Barrett speaks out

The Bucs certainly imposed their will on the Chiefs back in February of 2021 and KC is now without WR Tyreek Hill (who burned the Bucs earlier that season in a 27-24 victory). It remains to be seen as to where the game will be played due to Hurricane Ida which is set to strike the Florida Gulf coast this week.
