The Kansas City Chiefs have been attempting to work out a long-term deal with left tackle Orlando Brown this offseason to no avail. Latest reports say the two sides are not close on getting a deal done which should make for an interesting training camp and start to the season.
The Chiefs traded a first round pick to the Ravens in 2021 to acquire Brown’s services but it was always known the contract could be a major issue. Do the Chiefs trade Brown or trade him prior to the season? The team placed a franchise tag on Brown this offseason so he could play under the tag this year and next but that would be unlikely.
