Despite what fate befalls the Chiefs this postseason, perhaps it won’t be such a “Cruel Summer” for Travis Kelce. A source tells popular news site Page Six that America’s favorite couple, Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce “plan” on becoming engaged this Summer. The rumor and innuendo suggests that happy twosome could make the announcement on the anniversary of their first date, which is in July.
Travis and Taylor quickly rose to fame and scrutiny after Travis announced on his New Heights Podcast that he had been unable to meet Taylor at her Arrowhead Stadium concert in July. Quickly, the wheels started turning and they began hanging out in secret before Swift shocked America when she appeared in an Arrowhead Stadium suite during the Chiefs/Bears game in September.
Since then, it’s been a whirlwind of private parties, flights back and forth and meetings with parents, all of which are said to have gone really well. If an engagement is, in fact, looming, we wish these two the very best.
