Patrick Mahomes makes plea to bring NHL franchise to KC

Could the NHL make its return to Kansas City for the first time since 1976? With the Arizona Coyotes potentially looking for a new home after a potential new arena/entertainment district in Tempe failed to pass, the Coyotes could be looking elsewhere and KC could be in play. While it’s been almost fifty years since the city has played host to the NHL, now could be the time and Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes is on board.

While Mahomes already has a minority ownership in the Royals, perhaps he would like to lead the way for Kansas City to add an anchor tenant to the T-Mobile Center. Mahomes took to Twitter on Wednesday to make a plea to the NHL to send The Coyotes to KC.
